I've got around 2 months of school left to go until I finally get a nice, decent break. The thing about being marked in comparison to the rest of your peers is that every moment you spend watching TV, playing a computer game or doing any other activity that involves fu, is kind of ruined with the thought in the back of your head - "I should be studying now, everyone else is studying, you're gonna get beaten".

It wouldn't be so bad if my entry into university wasn't dependant on my results this year, but unfortunately they are. While i'm sure i'll get into one of the university courses i'm applying for, I really want to get into one that has quite a high entry requirement, so there's a fair bit of pressure. Also, me wanting to prove my intelligence to everyone I know is also a motivating factor =)

Any work i've done on deviantART has been put on hold for the most part, although the bandwidth issue doesn't exactly help either. I learnt scraps of PHP a few weeks ago, and made my own instant messenger in Visual Basic. It's got buddy lists and such all working, but i'm not sure if I'll work on it anymore after school has finished - it's not like the world needs another instant messenger, right?

Anyhow, I've got an enthralling English paper to write so i'd best be off. Thanks for reading down this far anyone who cares :moo:
